Step 2
BC entire piece with White. The plaid design on the roof is painted with Brightest Red, Mistletoe, and a blend of Mistletoe and White. To make the plaid, place a larger stripe (approx. 1/4") of Brightest Red from top of roof to center of each dip of garland, and from top of roof thru bow to edge of roof. (total of 8 red stripes). Put three equally spaced Brightest Red horizontal stripes to match vertical stripes. (approx. 1/2" apart). Now working with vertical stripes, place a thin Mistletoe stripe to the right of the Brightest Red stripe. Leave a narrow white stripe showing between. Place thin Mistletoe stripe above horizontal Brightest Red stripe. To the opposite side of the Brightest Red stripe, place a stripe from mixture of Mistletoe and White. When this is complete, place a thin white stripe through the large red stripes. Make sure this is done both horizontally and vertically.
Step 3
BC garland and wreath with Accent Green. Dry brush with Mistletoe. With Mistletoe still in the brush dip into White and dry brush HL on high spots of garland and wreath. Spray with porcelain mist. Paint bows with Gold. Use brush-on sealer to prevent gold from tarnishing.

Step 1
While wet, place Ni-chrome wire hanger in top of roof. (Optional) Drill 1/8" hole for bird perch. Clean greenware and fire to witness cone 04.
Step 2
BC house portion Chocolate Brown. Roof BC White. Leave all circles to be painted later as candy. The Chocolate Brown will extend up under roof and between half-circles on first row of roof. It will appear that roof is Chocolate Brown.
Step 3
Candy canes on door will be BC White. Use Brightest Red on top of one candy cane. White on opposite candy cane. Alternate Brightest Red and White until candy cane is finished. They will appear to be opposites. Paint small thin White line thru center from top to bottom on candy cane to appear as a HL.
Step 4
Using Yellow, Mistletoe, Strawberrie, Carrot Cake, Royal Purple, Lilac, Brightest Red, and Misty Green, in this order, paint the half-circles at bottom of house. Place thin White line on each half-circle to appear as HL on piece of candy.
Step 5
First row of candy to be painted on roof is the bottom edge. These half-circles will be painted with Carrot Cake and Misty Green. Do these every other one on this row. Place a circular White line close to the edge of each piece of candy to represent the inner rind of an orange and lime slice.
Step 6
The next row up is painted like peppermint. BC White. Starting at bottom of circle to form the peppermint design, place a stroke of Brightest Red. (Pattern included)

Step 7
The next row up is done like the candy pieces at the bottom of the house. Leave out Brightest Red and Mistletoe on this row. There are only 12 half-circles.
Step 8
The next row up we will be making a design of a heart flower. The candy background will be
White, the heart that forms the flower will be done in Brightest Red. The stem and two "comma stroke" leaves will be made with Mistletoe. Close to the outter edge of this circle, place little red lines that appear like sewing stitches. This will give an appearance of red coming thru on the candy. Float above this row of candy with Grey. This will be a shadow under the top section.

Step 9
Spray with porcelain mist. When dry, place high gloss sealer on all candy areas so the candy will appear shiney. Use P-502 non-fired snow on top section to appear as frosting. While this is wet, press in colored glass beads to represent holiday baking candies. Allow to dry overnight.
