#983 Slate Butterfly Frame

 SLATE

1.  Base coat bisque with 2 coats of Duncan OS485 French Vanilla.

2.  Thin Duncan OS 472 Walnut  with water and brush on entire piece. Wipe off with a soft cloth.

3.  Thin Duncan OS 544 Rainforest Green with water and add color to highlight the areas of your choice. Dab

     off with a soft cloth or paper towel.

4.  Thin Duncan OS 439 with water and highlight the areas of your choice. Dab off with soft

     cloth or paper towel. 

5.  Apply the decal in the normal manner, except for trimming the excess top coat around the words or

     design. Spray your piece with 3 to 4 wet coats of porcelain spray.  Let each WET coat dry before          

     applying the next.  Note:  Wetting the area to be decaled before applying the decal will help give

     it more mobility. The decals do not move as easily on stain as they do on glaze.
